Midnight Sun Skiing in Norway

Skiing under the midnight sun is a merging sunset and sunrise lasting between 4 and 6 hours and is simply an incredible experience that will never be forgotten. We ski locations with aspects facing both north and east during the period of May and the time from 11pm to 5am. To the north over the Islands of Kågen, Fuglø¸ya and Arnø¸ya the deep red sun skips over the ocean's horizon and casts a lingering pink light over the slopes we ascend and descend. The snow quality in May on the northern aspects is often powder above altitudes of 600m and firm snow below. Our midnight sun tours have become a late season favorite so booking early is advisable.
