The Lyngen Alps are ideal for snow boarding as the majority of descents are literally fall-line Summit To Sea without long toe or heel side traverses or flat valley push-outs. You can enjoy the essence boarding on the long seemingly endless lines down to the beach.

Snowboarders should be technically competent to ride in all types of snow conditions. We recommend split snow boards for all riders. We do have the Ascent Ski system for rental at the lodge but recommend these for riders under 65kg weight only. The Ascent is a two piece aluminum ski with permanently fixed skins and a snowboard boot binding attachment. Above all split boards are the safest and most reliable way to board in Lyngen Alps.
