Sea Safari

Packed full of breathtaking sights, sounds and adventures. The Lyngen Fjord Sea Safari is one of the top five Lyngen Lodge must do's. We'll cross the fjord to the National Park Lyngen Alps, go on land, hike to waterfalls, see historic dry fish ports, spot Europe's largest eagle and experience the legendary lunch on board our luxury cruiser specially designed with you in mind.

Glacier Hiking

Directly opposite the lodge on the main Lyngen Peninsula is the dramatic Strupbreen Glacier which provides all the glacier courses and adventures. The Strupbreen glacier adventure day is combined with an exciting boat transfer across the fjord to reach the beach from where the glacier is accessed.

Reisa River National Park

A real favourite and a highlight for all visitors to the lodge is the spectacular journey by boat inside the Reisa River canyon to visit northern Norway's highest waterfall the Mollisfossen. You will journey up river in specially designed boats that navigate the forested Reisa River canyon for 2 hours until the Mollisfossen waterfall is reached deep inside the Reisa National Park. Here you will be able walk to the base of this powerful waterfall that cascades 270 meters down to green meadows at it's base. Lunch will be served over an open fire before the journey down river begins.

Kafjord Canyon Bridge

A short drive from the lodge provides access for various hiking trails to reach the impressive hanging bridge over the Gorsa Gorge. There is a 4km and an 8km to choose from and both wind their way through scenic birch tree woodland.
