The Lodge

Winter 19/20 host & Au-pair couple or individuals welcome has become available - Start November 14

New Host Lodge Team position has become available with immediate effect.

Start Date: 14/11/2019

Suitable for: both couples or individuals

Job Description: 40 hours per week. General house-keeping duties, including the preparing and hosting of buffet breakfasts. Hosting of guests before and after activities, including afternoon tea and then the setting up and serving of the three-course evening meal. Cooking assistance required in the kitchen twice per week.

Requirements: Minimum 1 season working experience in high-end hospitality. Must be over 25 years old.

Benefits: Subsidised accommodation in Lyngen Lodge’s staff house. Ample free time for private activities. Use of staff car. Highly competitive renumeration package.

Start Date: 14/11/2019

This role is a flexible arrangment dividing work shifts between lodge hosting, serving and house keeping and assisting with two children aged 7 and 4 years old. Previous hospitality and child care experience required. Monthly wage, accommodation offered and use of staff car.

Start Date: Mid June 2020

Job Description: 40 hours per week. Leading and hosting a variety of activities for private and open groups of max. 8 guests. Activities include hiking, e-mountain biking, kayaking, SUP, nature and historical guide, boat crew, glacier guide assistant.

Requirements: Previous experience leading relevant activities in the hospitality industry is expected. Qualifications required to guide some of the activities (please inquire). B Driving licence required. Wilderness guiding experience/qualifications are an advantage. Applicants need to be minimum of 25 years old.
