Founder / Owner

Elisabeth Braathen

Elisabeth is owner and responsible for administration and bookings. She is a hospitality professional with years of international experience. She was born in Trondheim (Norway) and lived for many years in St.Anton Austria working in management roles. Elisabeth is an avid skier, mountaineer and general sports fanatic. She joined forces with Graham to create the Lyngen Lodge in 2008.

Founder / Owner

Graham Austick

Graham is founder of the Lyngen Lodge and responisble for lodge operations. He is a professional IFMGA/UIAGM International Mountain Guide, BASI ISTD International Ski Teacher and Yacht Master Skipper. In 1998 he founded Piste to Powder in St.Anton Austria, specialising in off piste ski guiding and ski expeditions around the world. This led him eventually to the Lyngen Alps, where he decided to build Lyngen Lodge and base the concept on luxury adventures. 

Lodge Manager

Veronika Bodner

Veronika is originally from Austria and has been involved in hospitality and management for many years. Her passion for both mountain and ocean life has led her across the globe from the Super Yacht industry to high-end land based lodges. Veronika’s efficient organizational skills and warm hospitable approach will have you quickly and comfortably settled into the lodge.

Lodge Chef

Mathias Kottwitz

Mathias is the Lyngen Lodge executive chef. He is renowned for his cooking creativity, calmness, exquiste tastes and artistic presentations. Lyngen Lodge's kitchen is center stage inside the lodge and Mathias looks forward to preparing and presenting the best of the freshest local ingredients from both land and fjord here in northern Norway.

Marlene Sale

Marlene has much experience within the hospitality and the service industry. Her calm persona will have you feeling at ease in no time. When not at work Marlene can be found hiking the many trails around the lodge.

Lisa Heyner

Lisa is from Switzerland and her passion for travel in far north of Norway has led her to Lyngen Lodge. Lisa is very charasmatic, calm and detail orientated. Lisa is very much looking forward to welcoming you and making your stay a relaxing and memorable one.

Weronika Regosz

Hospitality in our lodge setting is about creating a home away from home experience. Weronika's warm and gentle personality adds great value to our Host Team and your breakfast experience.
