All about Minna Skirgård

Minna Skirgård is a world renowned fully-certified Vinyasa yoga teacher and founder of Scandoir – a group offering Scandinavian inspired retreats. Born in Sweden, she has lived in London since 2005. She gave up her career in finance to pursue her passion for health and wellbeing, and now divides her time between teaching yoga and running her retreat business.

Minna completed her 200hr teacher training with Mercedes Ngoh in Yeotown, UK. She has also completed further training with Tiffany Cruikshank (Yoga Medicine) and Richard Freeman (The Art of Vinyasa).

A Typical Retreat

What to expect on a Yoga Retreat in Norway

Typical yoga retreats last 4 days, giving you the optimum time to have enriching yoga classes and appreciate the beauty of the setting in the Lyngen Alps. Yoga mats and blocks are provided.

  • Transfers to/from Tromsø: We will provide you with location and arrival information for Lyngen Lodge, and the times to be collected from Tromsø (airport or city) for transfer to the lodge on your arrival date.
  • Breakfast: A large spread of international breakfast options is provided, including cereals, porridge, meats, salmon, eggs, and freshly baked bread.
  • Morning Yoga Class: Morning yoga with Minna Skirgård
  • Lunch: Selection of healthy and locally sourced foods
  • Afternoon Yoga: Afternoon yoga / restorative session, followed by a healthy afternoon tea.
  • Evening Meal: Our world-class chef prepares a three course feast of local offerings from regional producers in the Lyngen Alps, including salmon, trout, cod, halibut, wolf fish, cole, reindeer, lamb and much more.
