The Lodge

We are currently accepting applications for the following job positions:

Start Date: September / October 2019

Job Description: 5 days per week. Personable front of house manager to lead the staff team of ten members and sixteen guests throughout the various seasons of the Arctic year. The role includes (but is not limited to): logistics for airport transfers, activity transfers and activity schedules, staff work schedules, guest check in and check out services, guest hosting, general lodge upkeep, and maintenance controls.

Requirements: This is a lifestyle job where an interest and passion for the outdoors and mountain sport is essential. Applicants need to have several years of previous lodge / boutique hotel managerial experience. The managerial role does not require taking bookings or business accountancy duties. Driving license required.

Benefits: Live in job, with private apartment in the lodge. Five days on and two days off each week. Ample free time for private activities. Use of staff car. Highly competitive renumeration package.

Start Date: Mid November

Job Description: 40 hours per week. General house-keeping duties, including the preparing and hosting of buffet breakfasts. Hosting of guests before and after activities, including afternoon tea and then the setting up and serving of the three-course evening meal. Cooking assistance required in the kitchen twice per week.

Requirements: Minimum 1 season working experience in high-end hospitality. Must be over 25 years old.

Start Date: November 2019 - March 2020

Job Description: 40 hours per week. Leading and hosting a variety of activities for small groups of max. 8 guests. Activities include dog sledding, snowmobile, snowshoeing, photography, cross country skiing and northern light guiding.

Requirements: Previous experience leading relevant activities in the hospitality industry is expected. Driving licence required. Experience in snow/ice driving. Wilderness guiding experience/qualifications. Must be over 25 years old.
